Descriptive statistics

Inferential statistics
involves the methods used to estimate a property of a population based on a sample.
A population
is the entire set of individuals or objects of interest or the measurements obtained from all individuals or objects of interest.
A sample
is a portion, or part, of the population of interest.

What is a Continous variable?
it can assume any value within a specified range. like tire pressure, the weight of a shipment of grain, the duration of a fight...
