oth these dances were origanally done on the ballroom floor, usually with a partner. Orginating in the early 1930's by college kids, they were picked up by Vaudeville performers and used on the stage in dance routines
Slide the R foot forward across the L foot on a bent knee, straighten the R knee turning the R foot out & transferring the weight. Weight stays on the heel while the ball of the foot skims the floor. R arms is raised with index finger extented and must wiggle.
