Group created by Serbia to prevent them becoming a part of A-H, They were terrorists and assacianted A-H future leader to "permenantly" weaken them
What is Imperialism and how did it help start WW1
a policy of strengthing a nation by controlling valuble land (colonies)

-great competion between nations to aquire colonies
-when an imperialst country declaed war all of its colonies are also at war

A belife that military should be used to settle distrbutes and the best way to prevent war is to be prepared for war.

-countries nationalism would cause them to build military and neighbouring countries would be suspicious of this and do the same
-this started an arms race and all counties were looking for a way to use their military

agreement between nations for the purpose of protection and/or trades

-countries making alliances caused fear for other countries so they made their own
-once a memeber of an alliance declares war all memebers are at war

gave female relatives of soliders the right to vote

British passenger ship germans sunk and almost 2000 passengers died. Several were american which brought america into the war. once the US joined the war it ended
