Positioned above the actors at the top, illuminates in a spotlight
The upstage wall of the stage can have projections placed on it and light shining through it. They can be made of fabric and can be moved; a 'flexible cyc'.
On a stand in the wings, it projects light across the stage and it will only light one side of the actors.
A hashed wire circle plate, placed in front of a Fresnel, allows cut-out designs to be projected onto the stage.
The shade of colour used to light a stage (1000x, 2000x, 3000x) in order to indicate the tenperature of the location
Barndoors are attached to the Fresnels and provide a wider or narrower shed of light by simply moving them in and out. HOWEVER, they can only be positioned once before a show runs, they cannot be changed.
