why do christians believe that evil and suffering occurs?
- caused by humans; god will not interfere with humans free will
- test; follow the teachinsg to pass
- it is unknown; will be found out on the day of judgement
what might an atheist say about god and evil and suffering?
- if he was omnipotent then he would have the power to stop it
- if he was omnibenevolent then he wouldnt want to harm humans
- if he was just then he wouldnt want innocent people to suffer
- if he was omniscient then he would know pain and suffering is happening so he would stop it
who is the trinity made of?
- the father [god]
- the son [jesus]
- the spirit
- but there is only one god; he is just experienced differently
- the father is the omnipotent creator
- the son is the human incarnation sent to save humans from sin
- the holy spirit is god being present on earth today [guides and supports christians]
what do some christians believe about creation?
- literal creation; god spent 6 days making the world and rested on the 7th day
- he did something different everyday

- started off with the big bang
- science and bible

what do christians believe about life after death?
- if people believe in god and jesus they will have a life after this one for eternity
- humans will be ressurected from death; some belive only the spirit but some believe its full body ressurection
