Vermogen
Het genereren van inkomen door geld/bezit. Door het bijvoorbeeld betalen van een pand en die verhuren verdien je steeds meer geld.
Aandeel
Mede-eigenaar van een bedrijf. Veen risico sinds een bedrijf falliet kan gaan.
Rendement (bij aandeel)
2 Vormen van rendement zijn Koerswinst; het verkopen van je aandeel voor hogere prijs. Dividend; het stukje winst.
(Staats)obligatie
Lening met vaste looptijd + vaste rente. Geen risico sinds de overheid niet falliet kan gaan.
Nominale rente
Wat je betaalt qua rente aan de bank in procenten.
Ouderen inkomen
3 vormen van ouderen inkomen. 1. De AOW (een uitkering van de overheid elke maand) 2. (bedrijfs) Pensioen 3. Vermogen
Omslagstelsel
De werkenden van nu betalen voor AOW'ers van nu.
Kapitaaldekingstelsel
Premies van nu worden betaald voor de betaling van uitkeringen in de toekomst.
Inflatie
Algemene stijging van de prijzen van goederen en diensten, niet alleen van individuele producten.

Directe- en indirecte belasting
Directe belasting betaal je over inkomen of vermogen. Indrecte belasting betaal je over (bv) btw en accijns.
Overheidssaldo
Hoeveel geld de overheid in een jaar tekort komt, of te veel binnen krijgt.
Afspraken groei- en stabiliteitspact
1. De overheidstekort (EMU-Saldo) mag maximaal 3% zijn van bbp. 2. De staatsschuld (Emu-schuld) mag maximaal 60% zijn van bbp.
Proportioneel Belastingstelsel (vlaktaks)
Iedereen betaalt evenveel belasting, ongeacht je inkomen.
Progressief belastingstelsel
Met mate je inkomen stijgt, stijgt je belasting mee.
Belangrijkste bijtellingen
Eigenwoning farfait en een (lease) auto van de zaak.
Belangrijkste aftrekposten
Hypotheek rente , (bv) studiekosten en pensioen premies.
Belasttbaar inkomen/inkomensheffing
Inkomen waar over je belasting betaalt.
Marginale belastingstarief
Belastingstarief dat je betaalt over je laatste euro inkomen.
Draagkrachtbeginsel
Sterkste schouders dragen de zwaarste lasten. De rijkste mensen betalen het meeste belasting.
Profijt beginsel
Je betaalt voor een overheidsdienstals je er profijt van hebt. (bv college geld en wegebelasting.)
Economische solidariteit
Belangen van de groep verkiezen boven je eigen (finaciële) belangen. (bv AOW is verplichte economische solidariteit.)
Elastisch
Als de prijs stijgt zal de vraag relatief harder dalen
Inelastisch
Wanneer de prijs stijgt daals de vraag relatief midner hard
Welvaardvaste uitkeringen
Stijgt met de gemiddelde stijging van de CAO-lonen
