• THE NUCLEUS CONTAINS THE DNA THAT HAS THE CODE TO BUILD THE PROTEIN. THE DNA IS TRANSCRIBED INTO MRNA. THE MRNA LEAVES THE NUCLEUS THROUGH THE NUCLEAR PORE AND ENTERS THE ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM AND TRAVELS TO A RIBOSOME. THE RIBOSOME READS THE MRNA CODE AND BUILD THE PROTEIN. THE PROTEIN THAN TRAVELS THROUGH THE ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM AND PINCHES OFF IN A VESICLE THAT CARRIES THE IMMATURE PROTEIN TO THE GOLGI BODY. THE VESICLE FUSES WITH THE GOLGI BODY AND THE PROTEIN GETS MODIFIED AND CHANGED TO into A FULLY FUNCTIONAL PROTEIN. THE FULLY FUNCTIONAL PROTEIN THEN LEAVES IN A VESICLE THAT TRANSPORTS IT TO THE CELL MEMBRANE. THE VESICLE FUSES WITH THE CELL MEMBRANE AND RELEASE THE PROTEIN TO GO OUT TO THE BODY AND DO IT JOB.
