What is grey matter?

Grey matter is a bunch of neuronal cells that helps the brain function

Function: memory processing

What is white matter?

White matter is where long neuron cells are located that send electric signals to the body

Function: Connecting different areas of grey matter

What is the homonculus? Location? Importance?

The brains body map. The primary somatosensory cortex. Shows the where the body has sensitivity and how much there is.

What is the fusiform gyrus?

It is found in the temporal and occipital lobes and is for high-level visual processing.

Amygdala hijack is when we get so stressed or emotional the amygdala takes over and puts us in fight or flight mode
