Water based
What does the term Freshwater mean?
A body of water that does not contain any salt in the water and can be rivers, lakes, streams, ponds, and wetlands
What is Salt Water?
oceans and sea water with salt; largest biome
What are Macroinvertebrates?
animals without backbones, which are visible to the eye without the aid of a microscope.
What is another way to talk about Larvae or Nymphs?
Young Macros (Macroinvertebrates)
What is a Herbivore?
A consumer that eats only plants; Giraffe.
What is a Carnivore?
a consumer that only eats meat; Lion.
What is an Omnivore?
A consumer who eats both plants and meat; Bears.
What are some ways to destroy a Biome?
Extracting natural resources, polluting air and waterways and razing wild landscapes, hurting animals and the plants in them.
