Layouts and Pages

a placeholder that defines where the content will be displayed. It's commonly used in templates to specify the location where content should be dynamically inserted.

ContentPresenter

a simple container control that can hold a single child element. It serves as a base class for defining custom views and layouts.

ContentView

a container that provides scrolling capabilities for its content, allowing you to scroll vertically and/or horizontally.

ScrollView

a container that can be used to create a visual boundary around a child element. It provides properties for setting border, shadow, and corner radius.

Frame

a base class for creating custom controls with control templates. It allows for the separation of the visual structure of a control from its logic.

TemplatedView

a layout container that arranges its children in a single line, either vertically or horizontally.

Stack Layout

this positions its children at specified coordinates relative to the layout's bounds. It uses absolute positioning for precise control over where children are placed.

Absolute Layout

This positions its children relative to the layout’s bounds or to other elements within the layout, using constraints.

Relative Layout

a layout that arranges its children in a tabular form (rows and columns). It provides fine control over positioning using rows, columns, and cell spanning.

Grid

a more flexible layout manager that positions and sizes its children using flexbox principles (similar to CSS Flexbox). It allows for both horizontal and vertical stacking and supports wrapping, alignment, and space distribution.

Flex Layout

This is the most basic page type in .NET MAUI. It allows you to display a single
content view, such as a layout or a custom view.

Content Page

This page type provides a navigation stack, allowing users to navigate between pages using a back button or programmatically.

Navigation Page

This page type allows you to create a tabbed interface, where each tab can host a different page.

Tabbed Page

This page type includes a flyout menu that can be used to navigate between
different pages.

Flyout Page

This page type provides a carousel-style interface, where users can swipe or tap
to navigate between pages.

Carousel Page

This page type provides a master-detail interface, with a master page that displays a list of options, and a detail page that displays the content associated with the selected
option

Master Detail Page

This layout arranges its child views horizontally, one after the other.

Horizontal Stack Layout

This layout arranges its child views vertically, one after the other.

Vertical Stack Layout

This layout provides a simple way to add a border around a child view.

Border

This layout provides a way to show and hide content, with a header and a content
area.
