Tensor fasciae latae - A muscle on the outer side of the thigh that helps to stabilize the hip and knee during movement
Cuadriceps - The large gropus of four muscles at the front of the thigh responsible for extending the knee
Adductor - A group of muscles on the inner thigh that bring the legs toward the bodys midline
Patella (kneecap) - The small bone infront of the knee joint. Helps with leg movement
Right external knee ligament - Stabilizes the outer side of the right knee
Right internal knee ligament - Stabilizes the inner side of the knee ligament
Shin bone - The larger and stronger bone of the lower leg that bears most of the bodys weight
Fibula - The thinner bone of the lower leg that provides muscle attachment and lateral stability
Head of the fibula - The upper end of the fibula, formung part of the knee joint
Ankle bone - The bony projection of each side of the ankle that stabilizes the joint
Instep - The upper curved part of the foot between the toes and the ankle
Metatarsals - The five long bones in the midfoot that connect the toes to the ankle.
Sole of the foot - The bottom part of the foot that support the bodys weight when standing or walking
Heel
The heel bone. The largest bone in the foot. Carries body weight and absorbs chock when walking
Achilles tendon - The strong tendon connecting the calf muscles to the heel bone.
Popliteus - A small muscle located behind the knee that helps unlock the knee jlint when bending the leg.
