13. While holding the catheter, clean around urethra and at least 3-4 inches down the catheter.
14. *Clean with strokes only away from the urethra.
15. Use a clean portion of the washcloth for each stroke.
16. While holding the catheter, rinse at least 3-4 inches down the drainage tube

30. Wipe the drain with an alcohol wipe AFTER emptying drainage bag. Pick up and discard barrier.
31. Place graduate on a level flat surface.
32. With graduate at eye level, measure output.
33. Empty graduate into designated toilet/commode
34. Rinse equipment emptying rinse water into designated toilet/commode

36. Return equipment to storage
37. Record the output in mi's on previously signed recording form.l
38. Place soiled linen in designated laundry container

53. Turn off faucet with a clean, dry paper towel and discard paper towel to trash container as used.
54. *Do not re-contaminate hands at any time during the hand washing procedure. (Such as touching the sides of the sink)
55. Report and record.
